Maori Land Court and Maori Trusts
The firm provides general advisory services to Maori trusts, attends trustees' and beneficiary meetings, prepares reports and attends to statutory requirements for trustees. As with all trusts, the trustees are subject to overall supervision of Maori Land Court and certain matters require the approval of the Court. We prepare applications and supporting evidence and appear at the hearings. We draft initial trust orders to the individual requirements of whanau and hapu.
